Lately, I've been pondering a question: why do some people always find it hard to see others succeed? I have such people around me—when others get a promotion, they pour cold water; when others buy a house, they find faults; when others are in love, they make sarcastic remarks. Only later did I realize that people who can't stand others' success are not actually jealous of how good others are, but rather lack something inside themselves.

Think carefully—if a person’s heart is full of goodness and hope, how could they possibly have time to envy others? Those who can't stand others' success are often because their inner world is too empty, so they need to belittle others to gain a false sense of superiority. In plain terms, being unable to accept others' success exposes the emptiness inside.

On the other hand, what about those who genuinely wish others well? They won't feel threatened by others' achievements; instead, they'll be happy for them. Such people tend to live more fulfilling and happier lives. Because when your heart is filled with goodness, you won't be overwhelmed by negative emotions. Wanting others to succeed shows you have a kind heart, and this mindset itself is a kind of blessing.

So, instead of obsessing over the mentality of resenting others' success, ask yourself: what kind of person do I want to be? What kind of beauty do I want to discover in life? Always be someone who is good at noticing beauty and appreciating others, and your life will be completely different. This isn't preaching; it's a genuine experience I've had in life.
