I just reviewed the Chinese cryptocurrency landscape in the market, and there are some projects that are really worth keeping an eye on. They may not be the most popular globally, but they have interesting potential that many traders overlook.
Let's start with NEO. This project positions itself as the Chinese Ethereum, and honestly, it makes sense when you analyze it. The goal is to build an entire smart digital economy using smart contracts and verified digital identity. It is currently trading around $3.21 with a 1.29% drop in 24 hours. The interesting part is that it provides a robust ecosystem for decentralized DApps, something not all projects manage to do effectively.
Next is Conflux, which operates with a fairly innovative Tree-Graph mechanism. It is one of the few Chinese blockchain networks with official approval within the country, which is a significant differentiator. It focuses on Web3, digital identity, and collaborations with the government. The CFX is at $0.06, down 3.80% for the day.
VeChain is another project that deserves attention. It directly connects blockchain with supply chains, meaning you can track products from origin to the final consumer. It applies to industry, fashion, automobiles, and food. The VET is trading at $0.01, down 2.50% in 24 hours. It’s one of those projects with real use cases, not just speculation.
Ontology is interesting because it specializes in digital identity and data management. It helps companies build decentralized identity verification systems with secure storage. The ONT is at $0.06, with a 1.72% decline.
And finally, QTUM, which for me is the perfect balance. It takes Bitcoin’s security and combines it with Ethereum’s programmability. This gives it flexibility for companies and developers to build decentralized applications with good performance. The QTUM is at $1.03, with a small increase of 0.09% for the day.
What catches my attention is that these Chinese cryptocurrencies have a very different approach compared to other projects. It’s not just speculation but real applications and institutional collaborations. If you’re looking to diversify your portfolio with assets from the Chinese ecosystem, these five are the ones I would be monitoring closely. You can check their charts and real-time data on Gate to do your own analysis.
