The hacker posted three abnormal tweets between 21:14 and 21:23 UTC, including short links and phrases like "red bandit crew 4 life," which were clearly inconsistent with his usual style.
The hacker used this account to promote a Solana-based meme coin called $RKC (issued on the pumpfun platform).
The token rapidly surged then crashed, with over 80 wallets compromised within minutes, resulting in losses of approximately $2.86 million.
This incident also affected related assets:
GME stock experienced brief volatility, spiking to about $26 before falling back to around $22.
Coincidentally, GameStop had just issued a proxy statement regarding potential equity dilution that day, sparking community speculation that the timing of the hacking event might be "too coincidental."
The abnormal tweets were quickly deleted.
Since May 1, this account has not posted any normal content.
As of now, Keith Gill has not issued an official statement.
