BlockBeats News, May 12 — The spokesperson of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Ebrahim Rezaei, said in a post that if Iran is attacked again, Iran’s response may be to increase the enrichment level of uranium to 90%. Rezaei said that this matter will be reviewed and deliberated in the Iranian Parliament.

At present, the issue of uranium enrichment has become a key obstacle in the talks between the United States and Iran. Yesterday, the Iranian side once again reiterated that the right to uranium enrichment is “non-negotiable.” Meanwhile, the United States has previously demanded that Iran export highly enriched uranium outside Iran’s borders, or proposed that Iran suspend uranium enrichment activities for 20 years.

According to monitoring by PolyBeats, on the prediction market Polymarket, the probability that “Iran agrees to stop uranium enrichment” is 7% before the end of May, 28% before the end of June, and 54% before the end of the year.
