Vitalik Buterin Proposes ZK Payment Standard for Ethereum Privacy and AI Agent Transactions
Vitalik Buterin proposed a zero-knowledge payment standard for Ethereum that would let users verify payments without revealing balances or transaction history. The proposal uses recursive SNARKs and a ZK API credit mechanism to target private payments for AI agents at speeds and costs close to transparent transactions. Vitalik also proposed selective disclosure and proof of innocence features so users could show compliance to regulators or tax authorities without exposing private on-chain data.
