Do you really think you can sleep soundly after going all in? I’m not saying it’s definitely impossible—anyway, I’ve tried a few times, and the next day felt like I’d pulled an all-nighter, eyes locked on the candlestick chart, totally exhausted.
Later, I found that grid/DCA is more like slowly climbing during my travels: not trying to reach the summit in one step, but also not letting my heart race out of control along the way. Especially recently, when people have been talking about adding taxes in a certain area and compliance being strict and relaxed in cycles, once the expectations for deposits and withdrawals change, it’s even easier for people to get emotionally swayed. The more like this, the less I want to put my sleep on the line.
To put it simply, it comes down to which is harder for you to live with: missing out or experiencing pullbacks. I’d rather miss a bit than wake up in the middle of the night to add to my position... for now, that’s it.
