Circle completed a $222 million presale for its stablecoin-focused Layer 1 blockchain Arc at a $3 billion fully diluted valuation. Jeremy Allaire told CNBC that a16z crypto bought $75 million of Arc’s native token. Circle also said USDC on-chain transaction volume grew 263% last quarter to $21.5 trillion.
