Securities Daily Online, May 11 — China Uranium Industry stated in response to questions from investigators that recently, through the company’s first board of directors’ 29th meeting and the company’s second extraordinary general meeting in 2026, the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary China Nuclear Overseas plans to participate in Namibia’s Epitango Uranium Mine investment. Currently, the company is actively promoting the related work of project acquisition. After this transaction is completed, the company will gain additional resource rights for the Epitango Uranium Project, which will help enhance the scale and quality of resource reserves.

After the project is put into production, it will strengthen the company’s sustainable operating capacity and risk resistance, and improve its systematic control over high-quality uranium resources worldwide, enhancing resource security resilience, and aligning with the long-term interests of the company and all shareholders. Next, the company will consolidate and expand its natural uranium production capacity mainly in Namibia in Africa, while continuously developing and deploying in major global uranium resource-rich areas such as Africa and Central Asia, to achieve new breakthroughs.
