Recently, I noticed something interesting in on-chain data monitoring. A wallet associated with Tim Draper deposited 150.84 BTC, which he held for a year, into a major centralized exchange, and then apparently suffered a loss of $2.57 million.

Tim Draper is known as a Bitcoin advocate, but experiencing such a significant loss highlights the difficulty of timing. Even though he deposited Bitcoin worth $11.62 million, market movements caused that much loss, which might mean that even experienced investors can't beat the market.

Seeing professionals like Tim Draper encounter such situations with position management on CEXs, individual investors should be especially cautious. Ultimately, the market is tough for everyone.
