Today’s $HASH was pretty standard, I opened three accounts and mined a few thousand coins, selling for about $1,500 USD roughly.
The good part this time was that I jumped in immediately after seeing it.
The bad part was that it took too long to optimize the code; actually, getting it running is more important than squeezing out a little more performance, or I could have mined a few thousand more coins.
My current 1080ti can only be used for technical validation; I’ll keep trying to write a CUDA mining program to see how it goes, but the difficulty is too high now and I can’t mine anymore.
Not buying the 5090 earlier was a big mistake.
