Taiwan Indicts News Anchor Over Crypto Payments in Military Leak Case

Taiwanese prosecutors indicted news anchor Lin Chen-yu after accusing him of receiving 169,493 New Taiwan dollars in cryptocurrency to bribe military personnel for classified documents. Prosecutors also accused Lin of taking at least 4,325 USDT from a Chinese national last year to produce news reports critical of a recall campaign against a Kuomintang lawmaker.
