NSW Police Seize 52.3 Bitcoin Worth $4.2M in Alleged Darknet Marketplace Case

New South Wales Police seized 52.3 Bitcoin worth about $4.2 million during search warrants in Ingleburn on May 4. A 39-year-old man was charged with failing to comply with a digital evidence access order and other alleged offenses, while a 41-year-old man was charged over allegedly transferring the cryptocurrency. Detective Superintendent Matt Craft called the operation one of the biggest cryptocurrency seizures in the nation’s history.
