DeepSeek’s fundraising goal up to 50 billion RMB

The Information reports that DeepSeek’s fundraising goal is up to 50 billion RMB (approximately $7.35 billion). If finalized, this will set a new record for the largest single-round funding for a Chinese AI company, and DeepSeek’s valuation will reach 350 billion RMB (about $51.5 billion).

Doubao will add paid subscriptions outside the free mode

Recently, a paid version service statement appeared on Doubao’s App Store page. The statement says that to better serve professional users, Doubao will launch a paid version with more value-added services based on the free version. The page also disclosed three subscription plans: Standard Edition at 68 RMB per month (688 RMB annually), Enhanced Edition at 200 RMB per month (2048 RMB annually), and Professional Edition at 500 RMB per month (5088 RMB annually).

Currently, related paid options and features have not been seen in Doubao products. Doubao’s official response states, “Doubao has always provided free services. Based on the free service, Doubao is also exploring the launch of more value-added services to meet the diverse needs of different users. The details of these plans are still in testing; full information will be announced through official channels when officially launched.”
