Just looked up what Clix is actually making these days and honestly it's wild. The guy's only 21 and already sitting on like $27 million. His real name is Cody Conrod and he's from Connecticut, but most people just know him as Clix from his Fortnite days.
What's crazy is how he got here. Started competing seriously as a teenager, then qualified for the Fortnite World Cup in 2019 and just never looked back. Now he's pulling in over a million a year from tournament wins, YouTube (3.6M+ subs btw), Twitch streams, and brand deals. The YouTube channel alone is probably making him like 1-2k monthly depending on how many people are watching.
I think what gets overlooked is how young he was when all this happened. Most people don't know Clix real name or even realize he was grinding through this while still in high school. His parents supported the whole gaming thing which probably helped. Now he's dating Dakota Tyler and just living the dream, streaming and uploading content. Pretty insane trajectory for someone who basically turned a hobby into a multi-million dollar career. Makes you wonder how many other young players could do the same if they had the right setup and focus.
