AIG names Eric Andersen CEO, Zaffino to become executive chair By Investing.com
American International Group (AIG) has appointed Eric Andersen as its new President and CEO, effective June 1, with current chairman and CEO Peter Zaffino transitioning to executive chair of the board. This move completes a previously announced succession plan. AIG’s stock has declined 11.7% year-to-date, and the company is scheduled to discuss the transition during its first-quarter 2026 earnings conference call.
