Every year during tax season, I keep thinking: trading can be impulsive, but don't impulsively delete your records... My current habit is, whenever I cross an account or chain, I quickly take a screenshot + export a CSV and put it in the same folder, naming the files by date. Otherwise, facing a bunch of addresses at the end of the year can really drive you crazy. On-chain modularity and DA layer narrative developers talk about are flying high, but as an ordinary user, I honestly care more about "which day this transaction counts for, where it came from, and where it goes," rather than getting so complicated that I can't even explain it myself. Anyway, just treat it like organizing a keychain: spend ten minutes every Friday to review authorizations and transaction flows. Over the long term, it’s not about saving money, but about maintaining peace of mind.
