Just saw that Village Farms brought in Yvonne Trupiano as their new EVP and global CHRO. Interesting move for a company pushing international expansion. She's got serious credentials too - over 25 years in HR leadership across Fortune 500 companies like Avis Budget Group and SpartanNash. Started her career at an automotive supplier and most recently was CHRO at a major insurance company. So basically they're bringing in someone with deep experience scaling HR operations across different industries. Makes sense if they're trying to build out their global team structure. Yvonne Trupiano seems like a solid hire for that kind of growth phase they're in. Wonder how this plays into their broader expansion strategy.
