Why is ETH currently bearish$ETH ?
Recently someone asked me: "Is ETH about to rise again?" Honestly, I don't think it's very optimistic, and the reasons are simple and very realistic.
1. Market sentiment is poor
Don't just look at the charts; often, price fluctuations are more about people's psychology. Recently, the overall market atmosphere isn't good, investors are generally cautious, fewer buy, more sell, so ETH naturally doesn't rise easily. Even a short-term rebound can easily be pulled back.
2. Heavy competition pressure
ETH is no longer the only choice. Now chains like BNB, SOL, ARB are all competing for market share, and many new projects don't necessarily have to run on ETH, which puts pressure on its value. Simply put, ETH is no longer the "only hot favorite."
3. Ethereum's own issues persist
Although ETH has undergone upgrades (like the merge), problems like high gas fees, network congestion, and slow transactions still occasionally occur. Poor user experience naturally affects market confidence.
4. Big players' movements
Many big players hold a lot of $ETH . If they start cashing out or selling off, it will trigger a chain reaction. Small investors see the price drop and panic, creating a negative cycle.
5. Technical pressure
From the charts, ETH's recent support levels are not very stable. If broken, there could be a wave of accelerated decline in the short term. Many traders are watching these levels closely; once broken, their psychological expectations worsen.
Overall, ETH may face pressure in the short term, making it hard to rise. Don't just listen to others shouting "bull market"; pay more attention to market sentiment, competitors, and big players' actions.
Erli directly shorts one ETH at the current price with fans. Fans support me to go short on ETH, I aim to profit for them!
