Iranian Official Says U.S. “14-Point Plan” Is “Unrealistic,” Emphasizes Negotiations Must Include “Real Benefits”

Jin10 Data, May 7—According to a report by Iran’s Press TV, cited by The Wall Street Journal, Mohsen Rezaei, a long-time adviser to the late Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and a former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said Iran will not allow the United States to reopen the Strait of Hormuz with “an unrealistic plan,” and then exit the war “without paying any compensation for all damages caused to Iran.” The remarks were aimed at the 14-point plan submitted to Iran by Washington through negotiation representatives. Rezaei emphasized that if negotiations between Iran and the U.S. are to achieve satisfactory results, they must include “real benefits,” not the “showy posturing” of the kind the U.S. is trying to offer. He said that even if the U.S. withdraws troops from the region, Iran will still demand its rights and war reparations. Rezaei also said, “We have endured them for 47 years, and we will continue down the path of resistance.” Currently watching key levels 2270 2250 #BTC回调
