Techub News reports that, according to TechCrunch, Google announced the launch of a health coaching service based on Gemini AI, as part of Google Health Premium subscription, costing $9.99 per month or $99 annually, set to go live globally on May 19. At the same time, the Fitbit app will be renamed Google Health, and the new service will integrate multi-dimensional health data such as fitness, sleep, and nutrition to provide personalized advice. This service is based on Google’s fitness strategy following its 2021 acquisition of Fitbit, initially available to Fitbit and Pixel Watch users, with support for other devices coming soon. Users can interact with the coach through natural language, record exercise, diet, and health data, with AI generating insights by combining environmental, menstrual cycle tracking, and U.S. medical record information.
