Forbes: SBF's Venture Investments Could Have Increased Wealth by $100 Billion if Not Imprisoned

On May 5, Forbes reported that if FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) had not been interrupted by imprisonment, his early venture capital portfolio could theoretically have brought him an additional wealth of up to $100 billion. The report noted that SBF had invested in several high-growth technology and AI companies, including Anthropic, SpaceX, and Robinhood, some of which have significantly increased in valuation, demonstrating his strong foresight in the AI and technology sectors. SBF is currently serving a 25-year sentence for misappropriating over $8 billion in customer funds. At his peak, his personal wealth reached approximately $24 billion, and he was featured on the Forbes 400 list. BlockBeats previously reported that ‘From Bankruptcy Black Hole to $10 Billion Mirage: SBF’s ‘Missed’ Portfolio is Said to Have Soared to $100 Billion Level’.
