South Korean Court Holds Orbit Bridge Operator Liable After $80.5M Hack

A South Korean court held Orbit Bridge operator Ozys liable after a hack worth over 110 billion won, or about $80.5 million. The Seoul Southern District Court ordered Ozys to pay 726 million won, or about $531,000, to a user who sued over the loss. The court limited liability to 70% after considering Ozys’s security upgrades and prompt report to investigative authorities.
