Ancient SWIFT, Eric Trump Confident Bitcoin Will Replace It and Reach $1 Million
During a panel session at Consensus 2026 on Wednesday (5/6), Eric Trump delivered sharp criticism of traditional banking infrastructure while giving a highly optimistic Bitcoin price prediction. He emphasized that the old financial system, especially SWIFT, is no longer relevant in the digital era that demands high efficiency.
Eric questions the future of wire transfer systems that still have operational time limitations.
"Do you think the SWIFT system will still be around in seven years when you can't even send a transfer after 4 p.m. on Friday? Impossible," he asserted.
He believes these limitations make blockchain a much superior choice as the future financial infrastructure.
Along with this shift, Eric is very confident that Bitcoin's value will surpass $1 million. He also revealed that his American Bitcoin reserves within his business circle have skyrocketed from zero to over 7,000 BTC. With institutional adoption at an "astronomical" level, Eric projects that the coming years will be a very explosive period for the global digital asset market.
