In the past two days, meme + celebrity “call trades” have been everywhere again, and attention is shifting so fast it’s like a raffle. Newcomers are especially likely to get excited and click “Authorize Unlimited Allowance.” To put it plainly, this is like making a copy of your wallet key and placing it on someone else’s desk. If the protocol gets hacked, the logic gets swapped, or the treasury gets moved, you might wake up after a nap to find it all gone. That’s why revoking permissions is really as important as sleeping: you can get by without doing it, but one incident is enough to make you remember for a lifetime.

My own habit right now is: after I finish interacting, I immediately clear any authorizations I don’t need—especially those where the contract is upgradeable and permissions are highly concentrated. The information environment is too noisy, and the noise-reduction strategy is simple: watch less who’s shouting, and watch more what permissions you’re actually giving. A word of advice from veteran players: don’t risk your luck just to chase the “final baton.”
