I think the most interesting part is: Gate is now aiming to do more than just a cryptocurrency exchange; they want to directly challenge our traditional finance.

My two most intuitive thoughts:
First, the unified account really hits the pain point. Previously, jumping between cryptocurrencies, US stocks, and forex, transferring funds and opening accounts was really a hassle. Now Gate has integrated Pre-IPO and stock CFDs into one account, which is great for those of us who pursue capital efficiency; profits don't need to be withdrawn, and we can buy US stocks immediately, saving time and transaction fees.
Second, on transparency, Gate is indeed leading the way. Honestly, the biggest fear in the crypto space is platforms being empty-handed and just riding on hype. Since 2020, they have been obsessively working on proof of reserves (PoR). This kind of transparent approach is especially important during this phase of multi-asset expansion. Only when I feel my funds are safe do I dare to transfer money from my broker.
In summary, I don't think this is just following trends; Gate aims to dismantle the old rules of traditional finance through efficiency and trust. For investors, this indeed provides a more convenient alternative.
