【81k Steady as Mount Tai? Veteran: I See a Screen Full of “Empty City Strategy”】
“The steadier this 81k looks, the less confident I feel inside.”
Last night, I went over the situation with a veteran, who shook his head at the BTC volume bar—so compressed it was nearly invisible. He said that although the moving averages still look bullish, this kind of “hard pull without volume” is more like an Empty City Strategy. While everyone is watching from the sidelines, forcing a breakout at that level is nothing more than joking with your own capital.
He isn’t even watching the broader market anymore—he’s instead sizing up a few key coins: for example, checking whether SOL’s rebound has follow-through, confirming whether those most active funds are still there; or watching WIF, a sentiment barometer. As soon as it starts to hunch back, the market basically enters an “overdrawn” phase.
He also said it quite plainly in private: In a grinding consolidation like this at 81k, the biggest gap isn’t between who has more nerve, but between who can see through the “false fat” behind it. If even an old blue-chip like FIL isn’t anyone’s idea of a takeover, then the “flying knives” of the pullback may already be hanging overhead.
That’s the difference in perception: rookies guess when 81k will break, while veterans watch when this play will finally fizzle out.
