KelpDAO moves rsETH to Chainlink CCIP after $292M exploit, LayerZero dispute continues

KelpDAO said it moved rsETH to Chainlink CCIP after an April 18 attack stole about 116,500 rsETH worth around $292 million. KelpDAO said the stolen assets were used as collateral to borrow WETH on Aave v3. LayerZero and KelpDAO continue to dispute whether the vulnerability came from KelpDAO changing the DVN verification setup or from LayerZero’s default configuration.
