I've been seeing debates lately about whether secondary markets should pay royalties to creators. Honestly, I understand both sides: buyers feel "Why should I be deducted when I resell?" and creators feel "Without royalties, how can I keep producing?" But upon reflection, royalties are more like a social consensus; it's not something that can be forcibly enforced just by writing a rule on the blockchain.

I would instead focus on the "signal": after removing royalties/subsidies, will creators continue to update? Will the community still be willing to spread organically? If the only way to maintain popularity is through forced commissions, it feels similar to the inflation + studio-driven profit model of chain games, ultimately leading to a spiral in token prices, and everyone gets exhausted.

Perhaps the simplest approach is to make the value real: turn supporting creators into a willing-to-pay choice, rather than a "tax" in the transaction process. That's the initial idea; we'll see how it develops.
