Cipher Digital raises 200 million USD to expand HPC
Cipher Digital has announced a revolving credit limit of USD 200 million, secured by several global financial institutions.
The new capital will be used to increase liquidity and expand the company’s AI and HPC data center platform. The business also stated that it has signed a lease agreement for the third AI data center facility in its Q1 earnings report.
Along with the credit limit announcement, Cipher Digital reported Q1 revenue of USD 35 million. This is part of the plan to expand the data infrastructure segment beyond traditional Bitcoin mining operations.
The company has not yet disclosed additional details about the terms of the credit limit or the duration of the funding. The expansion into AI and HPC indicates that Cipher Digital continues to push forward its data infrastructure strategy.
