Abstract generation in progress

CoinWorld News reports that Google is building a new type of AI personal agent called “Remy” for Gemini, which can take action on a user’s behalf. According to internal documents and two people familiar with the matter, Google employees have already been testing this new AI agent. It runs in a Google Gemini app that is limited to employees and can integrate with a range of other Google services. The description of the agent says: “Remy is your 24/7 personal agent for work, study, and everyday life, supported by Gemini. It elevates the Gemini app into a true assistant that can take action on your behalf—rather than just answering questions or generating content.” In some ways, it is similar to the AI agent OpenClaw, which quickly went viral earlier this year and can perform tasks such as replying to messages or conducting research on a user’s behalf. It is still unclear when Remy will be released to the public. Google is expected to hold its I/O conference later this month, where it is expected to showcase its next wave of AI products, and AI agents are very likely to be a key focus.
