Recently, I was pulled into "social mining" again, basically meaning daily check-ins, reposts, group discussions for points, and in the end, a bunch of badges stacked up, leaving people completely drained.
I also watch governance meetings, but I care more about who is genuinely pushing forward and who is just wasting time (especially those two-hour meetings...).
As for points, if they can serve as a ticket, then so be it; don’t treat them as a personal KPI.
And in the group these days, there’s stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, various "de-pegging rumors" circulating back and forth.
I see everyone’s emotions are more volatile than on-chain data, and as they keep flipping through, they start to flood the chat with anxious messages.
Anyway, my current approach is: keep my identity on-chain if possible, spend my time on real relationships and sleeping...
As for whether those badges are really worth it, what do you all think?
