Golden Finance reports that on May 5th, the three major U.S. stock indices all opened higher, with the Nasdaq up 0.8% and hitting a new intraday high, the Dow Jones up 0.52%, and the S&P 500 up 0.63%. Storage concept stocks continued their strong performance, with Micron Technology rising over 5%, Western Digital up over 3%, SanDisk and Seagate Technology up over 2%; Intel rose over 6%.
