Recently debating whether to go with L2 or the mainnet, honestly it's about saving gas and peace of mind or spending more money for reassurance. My compromise: small daily transactions on L2 for smoother use; once it involves authorization, lending, cross-chain operations—things that keep you awake if something goes wrong—I'd rather stick to the mainnet, even if it's slower and more expensive, with permissions set to the minimum, avoiding signing if possible. The community's funding rates are also extreme, everyone arguing whether to reverse or keep squeezing the bubble; I won't follow the emotions—when network congestion hits, it's easiest to slip up and confirm a bit more than intended. And a reminder to myself: I treat complexity as an enemy; if it can be simplified, I will simplify it—don't leave gaps for greed.
