From the Perspective of Awareness Trading Method: Bitcoin Trading Mindset in Great Power Rivalry

Recently, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth confirmed that the U.S. is conducting covert operations to gain a strategic Bitcoin advantage over other countries. Meanwhile, the Governor of the Czech National Bank publicly endorsed Bitcoin’s inclusion in central bank reserves at the Bitcoin 2026 conference. In the game of great power rivalry, Bitcoin has upgraded from "digital gold" to "national strategic asset."

Once the news broke, market sentiment quickly heated up. But the Awareness Trading Method reminds us: the more significant the good news, the more we must beware of "mental chaos." When White House advisors hint at upcoming strategic reserves, when your social circle is full of bullish calls, and when you think "this time is different"—these are precisely the moments when "awareness" needs to be most active.

From the perspective of awareness, the logic of large-scale national reserve-level capital entering the market is completely different from retail traders. Sovereign funds are not buying for short-term fluctuations but for strategic allocations spanning over ten years. Ordinary traders, if driven by news to chase highs and open long positions, are violating the core of the "Three Levels of Mind"—being disturbed by external information and losing self-awareness is a failure of "seeing oneself."

The true response of awareness: good news from the news surface should not lead to FOMO-driven chasing; market pullbacks should not cause panic selling. Strategic reserves are a long-term narrative; trading is about responding to the present. Bitcoin does not lack this good news; what it lacks is your ability to maintain clarity of mind and awareness amid big volatility.
