Honestly, when friends come over, and there's internet, but you need something to entertain the company—that's the problem. I started digging into apps and realized that phone games for groups are just a salvation. You don't need PUBG or some Fortnite; sometimes you just want to play something relaxing with close friends.
The games I found on the phone for groups turned out to be much more interesting than I expected. For example, Ludo King—that's just like in childhood, remember when we played on paper? Now everything's through a smartphone, you can invite a friend or even a stranger over the internet. Roll the dice, move the pieces along the track, try not to let the opponent send you back to the start. The competitive atmosphere is just off the charts.
Next, I tried Pool—that's for those who love billiards, but nobody goes to the real one anymore. It's simple: invite a friend, pot the balls, climb the rankings. You can even compete with anyone worldwide. Phone games like this show that graphics aren't the main thing; the spirit of competition is what matters.
I liked Volley Hangout because you can play it right next to someone via Bluetooth, no internet needed. A simplified version of volleyball, but really fun. The characters change depending on points, there's a mode against the computer to practice.
And Glow Hockey 2 is a classic that still holds up. Two players, score goals in the opponent's net, prevent them from scoring in yours. Better on a big screen, of course, but normal on a regular phone too. An old game, but people still love it because it works. These are the kinds of phone games for groups I now regularly turn on when friends come over. Simple, fun, no fuss.
