Just came across some interesting long-term bitcoin price prediction data that's worth looking at. The forecasts span from 2030 all the way out to 2050, and honestly the trajectory is pretty wild if these numbers pan out.
So for 2030, the prediction sits between $150K-$165K. Jump ahead to 2035 and we're looking at a wider range of $180K-$300K. By 2040, the high end pushes to $400K with a floor around $220K. Then 2050 shows the most aggressive numbers - anywhere from $456K to $650K depending on how things develop.
What's interesting is how the range widens as you go further out, which makes sense given all the variables at play. Currently BTC is trading around $80K, so even the 2030 minimum would represent solid gains from here. Of course, these are just predictions and a lot can change, but the bitcoin price prediction models do seem to factor in adoption curves and scarcity dynamics.
The 2050 outlook especially assumes sustained institutional interest and continued network growth. Whether we actually hit those numbers depends on way too many factors to count, but it's a useful exercise thinking through what bitcoin price prediction scenarios could look like over the next couple decades.
