Golden Finance reports that on May 5th, U.S. President Donald Trump stated at the White House Small Business Summit on May 4th local time that the current conflict with Iran has constituted a “war,” calling it a “mini-war.” Trump said, “They did a poll about the Iran war, and only 32% support it. I don’t like war, not at all.” He then added, “As for what we’re doing, I call it a ‘mini-war.’” It is reported that Trump had previously been advised to avoid using the word “war,” and House Speaker Johnson also previously stated that the United States is “not currently at war.” (CCTV News)
