Having seen too many people over five years and learned a bunch of indicators, I was ultimately taught how to behave by the market.
It's not that indicators are useless, but you're using them at the wrong stage.
In the beginner phase, the more complicated the method, the faster you die.
Today, I’m revealing the "15-Minute Minimalist Trading Strategy" I’ve used for five years—no fluff, all practical experience:
1️⃣ First, set the big direction (don’t go against the trend)
Look at the 1-hour chart with the MA60 moving average; if the price is above the average, only consider long positions; below, only consider short positions.
Avoid counter-trend trades; I’ve suffered losses before and know how painful they are.
2️⃣ Find key levels (don’t chase highs or sell lows)
On the 15-minute chart, identify the nearest support and resistance levels.
Buy at support, sell at resistance, never chase highs or lows.
3️⃣ Wait for signals to enter (don’t gamble on the position)
Don’t place pending orders in advance to gamble on the position; wait for the price to retrace to key levels.
Buy signals are long candles with long lower shadows; sell signals are long candles with long upper shadows.
If no signal appears, don’t enter.
4️⃣ Lock in risk control (don’t hold through losses)
Set stop-loss outside key levels; keep position size fixed at 1%, with single-loss never exceeding 1% of the account.
Holding through losses is a dead end; I never do it.
I’ve been using this method since I started full-time trading—only trade what I understand, not greedy.
Newbies can use it to practice rhythm and mindset; it’s more than enough.
Save it, and stop trading blindly.
