Just saw that Brenda Chunga from HyperFund is now facing 11 federal charges including telecom fraud and money laundering. DOJ says she could get up to 20 years if convicted. This is wild because she and her co-operator already got hit by the SEC last year for running an unregistered securities scheme. Apparently they pulled in $1.7 billion from 2020 to 2022 claiming it was legit, but it was basically a Ponzi from day one. The whole thing collapsed in 2022 and investors got absolutely wrecked. So now Brenda Chunga's looking at criminal charges on top of the SEC civil case. Makes you think how many of these schemes are still flying under the radar out there. #SEC
