Iranian Revolutionary Guard: Illegal maritime activities will face "forced interception"

Sardar Hossein Mohabi, Deputy Director of the Public Relations Department and Spokesperson of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said on the 4th that there have been no changes to the management procedures for the Strait of Hormuz. All civilian and commercial vessels that meet the transportation and transit permits issued by the IRGC Navy and that navigate within designated routes through coordinated operations are safe and secure. He also noted that any maritime activities that do not comply with the IRGC Navy’s principles will face serious risks. Vessels in violation will be forcibly intercepted. All shipping companies and transportation insurance institutions must strictly pay attention to the relevant announcements issued by the IRGC. (CCTV News)
