CryptoWorld News reports that, according to Spanish media el correo de andalucía, the Fifth Investigation Court of Barcelona is investigating the "shirtum case," which involves a cryptocurrency and NFT project scam involving several former Sevilla FC players, with the amount involved possibly exceeding 24 million euros. The accused include well-known players such as Rakitic and Gomez. The indictment states that the project team initially raised about 3 million euros (in BNB) claiming to develop an NFT platform, but the platform was never launched, and they issued "fake NFTs" that were not on the chain and non-transferable, then sold the $SHI tokens to investors at high prices on PancakeSwap.
