BlockBeats News, May 4th, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bahar Gaei on the 4th stated that when discussing Iran’s stance towards Israel and its role in negotiations, the so-called ceasefire consensus was reached between Iran and the United States, and according to the U.S. statement, they explicitly stated that they are representing Israel in this war.

Therefore, Bahar Gaei emphasized that if a ceasefire agreement is reached in the future, or if arrangements to end the war are made in further negotiations, the U.S. commitments must also cover its “proxy” in the region, meaning the relevant commitments must also include Israel. Additionally, he pointed out that Iran’s policy towards Israel has not changed and still does not recognize the Israeli government. (Jin10)
