Anthropic plans to establish a $1.5 billion AI joint venture with Blackstone and others

Techub News reports that, according to crypto.news, Anthropic is about to reach a $1.5 billion joint venture agreement with Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, and Hellman & Friedman to provide AI tools to private equity-backed companies. Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman will each invest approximately $300 million, while Goldman Sachs will invest about $150 million. The platform will cover areas such as finance, operations, and enterprise software, with an announcement expected as early as May 4. Anthropic is exploring a valuation of over $300 billion and competing with OpenAI in the enterprise AI market. Additionally, the company is in talks with UK semiconductor company Fractile to acquire dedicated inference chips.
