I noticed an interesting trend at the beginning of this year. The gap between the richest person on Earth and the other billionaires has become simply historic. Elon Musk, with a fortune of $726 billion, has left his competitors far behind. This is not just a number – it’s a new record in the history of personal wealth.

Interestingly, this jump happened due to several factors simultaneously. SpaceX received an incredible valuation, Starlink is expanding, Tesla continues to grow, plus investments in neurotechnology. It turns out the richest person on the planet earned his money not in just one field, but across several promising sectors.

Following him is Larry Page from Google with $270 billion. Third is Jeff Bezos with $255 billion. Both gained on paper from artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Sergey Brin, Larry Ellison, Mark Zuckerberg – all of them are at the top thanks to technological dominance.

The point is, in the list of the ten richest people, there are almost only tech entrepreneurs. There are no traditional industrialists or financiers. Artificial intelligence, space, semiconductors – these are what truly generate wealth in our time.

Looking at the overall picture, the total wealth of this group has grown by hundreds of billions in just a few months. This shows how highly valued tech companies are and how quickly capital is concentrating in the hands of innovators. The richest person on Earth is no longer just a title; it’s a symbol that the tech sector is rewriting the rules of the game. Who would have thought a few years ago that personal wealth could exceed a trillion rubles and approach $750 billion?
