Recently, ZachXBT detected interesting activity on the blockchain. An address suspected to belong to Chris Larsen, one of Ripple's founders, has been making large XRP movements. Since mid-July, 50 million XRP have been transferred from that wallet, valued at around $140 million based on current prices.

Interestingly, some of these tokens have gone directly into several addresses connected to trading platforms. Meanwhile, another 10 million XRP have been moved to newly created wallets, possibly for long-term storage. Larsen's main wallet still holds about 2.81 billion XRP—that's a very large amount.

This isn't the first time Ripple's leadership has made significant transactions. Previously, the SEC accused Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse of cashing out $150 million in XRP over three years. Chris Larsen himself and his partner are also reported to have sold tokens worth $450 million between 2017 and 2020. So, this movement is a topic worth paying attention to for anyone following XRP and Ripple developments.
