Lately, whenever the mainnet gas fee spikes, I get timid, not because I mind losing a few tokens, but mainly because I feel uneasy during the confirmation step… So my current approach is pretty cautious: for long-term holdings and when I authorize a bunch of transactions, I take it slow on the mainnet; for daily swaps and trying out new things, I move them to L2, which indeed feels smoother, and anyway, if something goes wrong, it’s not a big deal. I also don’t like crossing bridges frequently; the more times I do it, the more it feels like crossing the street at midnight—no cars, but I still get nervous.

Recently, there’s been talk about social mining and fan tokens, saying attention is like mining… Listening to it, it sounds like neon lights at night—bright, but can’t really light up your wallet. Honestly, attention is very valuable, especially since you have to pay with your emotions.

What I fear most isn’t losing money, but every time I try to save on gas and end up making myself more anxious, to the point that I no longer enjoy browsing the chain before bed. That’s all for now, I’ll see how I feel tomorrow.
