Just caught something wild on-chain - Satoshi Nakamoto's net worth took a massive hit recently. Over the past week or so, his holdings dropped roughly $20 billion as BTC pulled back from those October peaks. Crazy to think about, but dude still holds like 1.1 million Bitcoin sitting there untouched since 2009, making him the biggest hodler in history by far.
What's insane is even after that correction, Satoshi Nakamoto's net worth still puts him somewhere around 15th richest person globally. That's still above some serious names like Alice Walton and Michael Bloomberg. It's a wild reminder of how much leverage you have when you're holding that much of a volatile asset. One market swing and you're shifting tens of billions in perceived wealth.
This whole thing really shows how unpredictable macro repricing can get in crypto. Satoshi's passive position is basically a live tracker of how much Bitcoin's dominance can swing the needle on global wealth rankings. Pretty mental when you think about it.
