I just learned about mining coins on a phone, but I really don't recommend it. Mining apps like MinerGate have been widely advertised, but the truth is they put too much strain on the processor, causing the battery to drain quickly, the device to overheat, and potentially damage the hardware. Apple and Google have banned most of these apps from their app stores for this reason.

If you still want to try mining coins on your phone, you'll need to download the app from outside the official app stores, which poses security risks. The process is quite simple: log into the app, find a mining group to join, and then let the device run. But the amount of money you earn will not be significant compared to the electricity costs and device wear and tear.

Instead, I think securely storing your cryptocurrencies is a better priority. Wallet apps like ZenGo use bank-level security technology, are free, and support over 75 cryptocurrencies. ZenGo shares the security keys in two parts—one on the phone and one in the cloud—so your funds remain safe even if your phone is lost or the app has issues. They also offer 24/7 customer support, usually responding within 5 minutes.

Honestly, if you want to make money with cryptocurrencies, focus on more effective methods rather than trying to mine on your phone. Secure storage is the first step to protecting your assets.
