Recently, I’ve come across a bunch of PFPs and membership passes again. To be honest, now when I see "group entry benefits" or "brand co-creation," I have a conditioned reflex: first check if the contract/permissions can be revoked, whether cross-chain is involved, and how long the confirmation takes... I’d rather be slow, wait for a few more confirmations, at least I feel more at ease.

I don’t doubt the long-term value, but often it just feels like a stack of short-term attention. Once the hype passes, only the avatar remains. Especially now, with testnet incentives and token expectations making people itchy, the group is guessing every day whether the mainnet will issue tokens. I don’t really dare to treat this uncertainty as member value.

Maybe only those rights that are clearly written and can be continuously fulfilled will truly stick, not just supported by narrative. That’s all for now. I’m going to work.
