Recently, I’ve been messing around with overseas account registration and just realized that SMS verification services are really convenient. I’ve used several SMS verification platforms before, some of which didn’t receive the code at all, others delayed by half a day, and I’ve encountered countless pitfalls. Later, I figured out that SMS-Activate and 5SIM are the most stable, and you can usually receive the code within ten seconds. There are also super cloud SMS and Xiaoniao SMS verification services, which are quite good, especially when testing domestic applications.
Honestly, the biggest advantage of SMS verification platforms is that you don’t need to buy physical SIM cards. Using them temporarily is very convenient, as they can protect your privacy and are great for testing. But there’s a pitfall to avoid—don’t use shared number ranges, as they’re prone to risk control measures. It’s best to prepare several numbers just in case. Also, verification for less common countries might be slow; in such cases, just switch to a number from another country.
Are you still struggling with account registration? Or do you have more stable SMS verification platform recommendations?
